After contracting Lyme Disease, Catherine Fishman also found out she had Crohn's disease. At age 23, she found herself in the hosptial and was given the diagnosis that there was nothing medicine could do to heal these diseases. Then her alternative and holistic healing journey began. She had not been able to work for more than two hours a day. She sought out all the information she could find. After being treated for three years by other health care practioners she ran into a friend from highschool who suggested she go to Living Waters Wellness Center in Boise, Idaho. Catherine spent 4 years trying to find a way to heal from Crohns and Lyme Disease. She had tried numerous modalities prior to coming to Living Waters such as Immune Suppression, Inflammation Suppression, and Steroids. She even tried Acupuncture, Enzyme Therapy and Acupressure. Her Chronic Pain now alerts her WHEN and IF she feels pain, not in the brief moments before she was without it.
